The Herdwick Shepherd Hut was a convenient stay for my family as we were attending a rugby match at Sandy Park Rugby Stadium, just 35 km away. the location also allowed us to explore Exeter Cathedral, 33 km from the hut, which was a beautiful historical site. the hut itself was perfect for our family, equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the children enjoyed playing by the stream that ran through the property, and we took advantage of the outdoor furniture and fire pit for family gatherings in the evenings. The campsite was well-maintained and clean, with a family-friendly atmosphere that made us feel welcome. the owners' children were a joy to watch as they helped out around the farm, giving the place a warm and inviting feel. It was the perfect base for our excursions to nearby attractions and provided a cozy and relaxing environment for our family to enjoy quality time together.
